Diversity and Inclusion Policy

Diversity

A diverse team is essential to our charitable mission. We are led by a chairwoman. Our board of directors is composed of 50% women and 50% men. The majority of our volunteers are women. Thirty percent of our volunteers were born outside of the United States. To ensure we execute our charitable mission with respect, empathy and accuracy, we are committed to fostering a diverse volunteer staff that reflects the society we assist.

Inclusion

An inclusive environment is essential to our charitable mission. The iLoveUkraine family is committed to creating an environment that feels inclusive and fulfilling to all irrespective of their gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, age, dis/ability, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic background or any other personal characteristic.

We strive to ensure that that everyone has an opportunity to leverage their individual strengths and talents. We deliver better results for Ukrainian refugee families, women, and children by focusing on diversity and by amplifying the voices of those who are least heard.

Our core values of care, service, respect, integrity, trust and accountability guide the way we serve our community and the way iLoveUkraine volunteers and partners are expected to relate to one another. We make it a priority to create an environment where everyone feels safe, valued and respected.

iLoveUkraine has a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and abuse of authority of any kind.
